But with over 500 installations, occasionally things do go wrong. If things do go wrong, we’re not going to run away as soon as the job is done. We’ll work with customers to fix any issues asap.

Here’s why our pricing is so tight:

  1. Electrification over profit – we are motivated more by helping households electrify than making millions. We keep heat pumps affordable, so we can all transition away from dirty fossil fuels as quickly as possible.
  2. Volume discounts – we are one of the largest installers in Victoria, so we access volume discounts for certain stock. We pass these discounts on to our customers.
  3. Maximise rebates – many installers use third-party groups to help them claim rebates (less paperwork), but we’ve gone the extra mile to claim these rebates directly and get the best value for our rebates, again passing on discounts to customers.

One thing we will not tighten is the value of our installations. We pay our installers well and we don’t take shortcuts. We’ve previously used some cheaper installers but we quickly realised a noticeable difference in quality. The old adage rings true – you get what you pay for.

 

4. Powrhouse Donations

 

Electrification is a wonderful way to save energy bills, but not everyone can afford the upfront cost, potentially being stuck in a vicious cycle of increasing energy bills and unable to afford more efficient replacements.
